The Animal Instinct

You can't beat a bit of animal print and denim to cheer yourself up can you?
On lazy days I just love reaching out for my "comfort blankets."
I don't know what I will do when this skirt gives up the ghost.
I love it so much.
Today I went shopping with my soon to be 13-year-old daughter.
We bagged some great bargains - which I will reveal later this week - including a lovely white skirt reduced form £19.99 to £5.00 in H & M.
It will be perfect for my trip to Seville at the end of this month.

Today I wore:
Boots - Clarks
Skirt and shirt - Marks and Spencer

  1. Oh, I'm so jealous you're going to Seville! I went there once in high school and it was so incredibly beautiful, even though it was 113 degrees! It was July...I bet the weather is stunning in late April, though :) You look lovely.

  2. that must be great, shopping with your daughter! We were so poor, it was never really 'fun' to go shopping with my mom.

I think we all would mourn the loss of that skirt when (if) it ever passes lol.

  3. No need to worry... that skirt looks like it has a long life ahead of it.
My mom never takes me shopping.... well never did ... and when she goes out she torments me saying i take too long...

  4. Flowery prints cheer me up. I do love the comfort clothes!

  5. I know what you mean about not wanting to give up clothes.. I think I'll be so sad when some things just don't fit or are too worn out to wear again. It makes me be extra cautious of them. I love the floral, and I do believe your skirt will last for very long. :) It looks promising.

  6. Oh yes, the skirt is great!
And I love a good markdown - it always feeling like winning.

    Chic on the Cheap

  7. love everything about this outfit! u look amazing my dearest! xoxo!

  8. Well done bagging that bargain in H&M ,You look lovely today ..love Jan xx

  9. I get so attached to clothes I love - the thought of ruining or wearing them out is sad but it has to be done xx

  10. Hi there-the leopardprint blouse looks fab my dear!!

Walking the Anglesey Coastal Path or How NOT To Murder Your Husband!

In my last post my husband complained that my running replacement - hiking up hills - almost finished off him and his dicky ticker. So for...
