Attack Of The 50ft Story

Great title - sadly it's not mine.
It's the title of the big project that I have been working on with young people in Skelmersdale.
Their words will be illuminated across the exterior of the library building at the end of November.
Last Friday was the final workshop when I spent the afternoon working with a group of young people in the Crisis Homeless Shelter.
I loved the energy of these feisty young people.
They may not be everyone's cup of tea - the language was choice and the insults flying across the room were outrageous.
But it is their spark and energy that has helped these troubled youngsters survive harrowing journeys.
I hope it won't be the last time I work with them.
