Sunday Errands

Dashing about here, there and everywhere this weekend as Joe, my 18-year-old son is home from university.
It is the first time we have seen in in six weeks and he looks amazingly well.
I was worried he would be burning the candles at both ends and not eating properly but he has been surprising me.
He showed me a photo of a meal he had cooked recently. With vegetables.
This is Joe who gave up carrots for Lent one year.
"But you don't like carrots, Joe."
"I know," he grinned.
Yesterday we went to Liverpool and got him a warm winter coat to keep him cosy during the West Yorkshire winter.
My husband has also cleaned and oiled his bike which will be going back with him.
I'm missing him already.
No time for tears, I have a roast to cook.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

I wore:
Shoes - Clarks
Jeans - Tesco
Top - M & Co
Thermal layer - Marks and Spencer
Jacket - Paul Costelloe
Bag - Clarks

  1. I'll bet you really enjoyed your son's visit. Laughed about the carrots.
