Summer Capsule Wardrobe Countdown

Just days away from the Summer Capsule Wardrobe Challenge.
The rules are simple.
Between June 4th and 11th you wear five garments from your wardrobe but you have unlimited access to accessories and shoes.
I have decided on a dress that can be worn as a skirt, a pair of jeans, a vest top, a cardigan and skirt.
I look forward to seeing what you all choose.

Today I wore:

Jeans - Top Shop
Boots - Clarks
T-shirt and jacket - Debenhams

  12. I am excited about the challenge too! I don't know if I can ACTUALLY make do on 5 clothing items at the OFFICE for 5 days, but I will try. It would be easy to do 5 dresses- but I don't own 5 dresses so I guess that idea is out ;). I'll have to REALLY challenge myself I guess! So far I have picked a dress, a skirt, and a tee. That might change though...

that is a pretty jacket lady! You've been looking super stylish lately :)

  14. Hi, Jane! I haven't stopped by to comment in a while, but I wanted to tell you that I'm really looking forward to seeing the results of this challenge. And more importantly, I wanted to thank you for something. I have just arrived in Bulgaria to visit a friend and tour around the country and Turkey through June 15th. Because of your capsule wardrobe challenges and Audi's "packing for travel" posts, I was able to pack so lightly for this 20-day trip that I could have fit everything into carry-on luggage. Thank you SO MUCH for the practice you helped me acquire with the previous challenge, and for the inspiration you have helped to spread. I never would have thought myself capable of packing so lightly for such a long adventure. Though, fortunately I know myself well enough that I opted to pack everything into a larger checked bag because I'm sure I'll be going home with more than I brought here!

I'm not going to participate in the challenge this time around (too much else to think about right now, and it doesn't really work with the capsule wardrobe that I brought here), but I can't wait to see what you and all your participants do.

  15. might join in on this however the weather out here in Lower Mainland, BC has yet to settle into summer from winter (looks like we're getting another Junuary).

So I might prep two capsule wardrobes appropriate for the liquidity of the sunshine and decide on day 1.

    Is that still OK?
