Nikhedonia

I love discovering new words.
My latest favourite is nikhedonia : The pleasure of anticipating victory or success. Etymologically from Nike, the Greek goddess of victory; plus hedone, pleasure.
This is how I am feeling today as I prepare to spend the day gardening and transform the overgrown lawns, weeds and moss into something lovely to look at.

I wore:
Shoes - Clarks
Jeans - Tesco
Top - Boden

  1. I like new words too. I'll have to think of a way to work that one into a conversation. The curved hem on your top takes it out of the ordinary. I was getting kind of tired of striped tops but would buy this one.

  6. Great new word, super smart outfit. Now, would you mind coming across the pond and sprucing up my yard while you're at it ;P
