Drowning

I have been looking for a new winter coat.
I want one that I can dress up or down and this Zara coat seemed perfect .
On the hanger.
This is the reason why us petites need to shop early and shop around.
The sleeves are too long.
The button is too low and the shoulders are too big.

I feel like I am drowning in coat.
Back to the drawing board!

  1. Agreed! I tend to only buy specific 'petite' coats from debenhams , very, next etc! New look have just launched some online petite ranges too! Good luck with the hunt! X

  2. I tend to stick to vintage fake fur jackets, coats make me look like a midget. Not a great look.
Do you buy a new coat every year? x

    1. HI Vix,

Not every year. I have two coats - one I bought in 1995 which is a dressy velvet coat and still going strong and one in 2010 which is falling apart.

  3. Good coats can be an investment and hard to find. I have one winter coat that is ages old but classic in style and really only gets a few outings yearly in our temperate climate. Good luck hunting.
