The students have now finished and we have just two more days to go.
Thankfully, no students means a much more relaxed dress code including jeans.
However, there is relaxed and relaxed when it comes to dress codes and I was surprised to see some members of staff wearing shorts.
My problem isn't with shorts per se it is just the amount of flesh on display that bothers me.
It is still a workplace after all.
A time and a place.
Or am I a prude?
I wore:
Shoes - New Look
Jeans - Gap
Top - Top Shop
Jacket - Primark
No , not at all, you're a professional at work!
ReplyDeleteLovely, relaxed, comfy, smart / casual style , very flatters and makes you appear quite slender:-)
Loving the statement necklace, v nice:-)
ReplyDeleteYou look great in your jeans! X
ReplyDeleteSome people have a very odd idea of what to wear for work, don't they?
ReplyDeleteLove that necklace. x
I'm completely with you on the dress code. Work place is not a holiday site, after all, with students there or not.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, there is a time and a place.
ReplyDeleteShorts to work are ok as long as they are the bermuda type, which are bit longer...
You are not a prude! I was always bothered by the double standard in the summer months on my campus--male faculty routinely wore shorts, which somehow was an unspoken no-no for female faculty.
