I will in the words of Dylan Thomas "rage against the dying of the light."
A trickle of sunlight poured through the skies this morning before the drizzle began.
Hasn't it been so wonderful to have a week of (almost) wall to wall sunshine.
It was a reminder of what summer used to be circa 1985.
I hope that's not it for another 28 years!!
I can guarantee it will rain at some point tomorrow.
It is my daughter's birthday and it always rains on her parade.
Today I wore:
Shoes - Clarks
Jeans - Tesco
Top - Warehouse
Necklace - Wallis
It's definitely not summer this morning (or yesterday, it was so chilly here in the afternoon our heating clicked on!) Happy birthday to your daughter. x
ReplyDeleteWe aren't having rain but it isn't exactly warm either. Happy Birthday to your daughter - I'm crossing my fingers that she doesn't have rain on her birthday.

One cannot trust the fact that it's spring or summer anymore - you have to go day by day because the climate is just so off-
ReplyDeleteHere it stopped raining already and we need rain.
You are so right. Formerly summer was very different. It began in May or June at the latest and ended after the summer holidays. It was full of warm sunny day spent at the lake.
ReplyDeleteI cross my fingers for your daughter's birthday tomorrow.
I can totally relate to your daughter! It ALWAYS rains on my (april) birthday.
