Bank Holiday Tuesday
Another lazy day followed by an evening out with friends.
During the day I dressed for comfort (watching films and a little gentle tidying) while in the evening I wanted to make more of an effort.
This annual Christmas evening out to our friends Kevin and Denise began way back in 2000 when our youngest son was just 9 months old.
Denise and I met at a toddler group before our eldest children had started school.
Today our two eldest children are both at university and the rest of our children are all at High School.
Nothing like Christmas to chart the passage of time.
I wore:
Day
Skirt - Boden
Top - Joules
Boots - Clarks
Evening
Dress and Wrap - Tesco
Boots - Clarks

Just dropping by to say how much I'm loving your outfits at the moment! You really suit red :-)
ReplyDeleteAs Emma said red really suits you. I'm all for lazing around today as the weather is awful here. Would have liked another walk but no chance in this!

What a fabulous red dress! You look great!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't believe you have a child in college - you look doubly great :)
You look stunning in red!
ReplyDeleteGentle tidying? That still sounds rather too energetic. x
I notice you have been wearing lots of red lately...it looks absolutely wonderful on you. Did you get your colours done or are you nturally gravitating to what suits you? You look fab anyway! Being a blonde I'm wondering if I can wear red too instead of my usual neutrals & blues...
ReplyDeleteJo - I haven't got my colours done but just over a week ago I realised that I always looked better when I was wearing red and since the have made the effort to scour my wardrobe for red.
