Mrs Grey

The weather was grey.
I was feeling a little grey which is why I went for this grey ensemble today.
My silver top blends in well with this grey Banana Republic skirt which enjoyed its first outing today.
I wanted to be smart as I was meeting my new students  for next year.
I introduced myself by announcing my real name but added , "I look a bit like Mrs Grey today" to a small bunch of students who asked if  my real name was Anastasia before dissolving into giggles.

Really?

Are 17-year-olds reading this stuff?

I don't know where you are on Fifty Shades of Grey but after reading the first book I was considerably underwhelmed.

That's all.

I wore:
Silver Top (1)
Grey Skirt (11)
White Jacket (22)
Grey and Tan Shoes (26)
Necklace: Wallis

  1. Another great look, Miss Grey! And I wouldn't be surprised if a copy of that book is doing the rounds 12 year old girls. Haven't read it though Googled sample extracts and thought it dire. But I did use quotes from it to caption a series of rainy day photos on my blog a couple of weeks ago. Sadly only my (grown up) daughter seemed to get it!

  3. I love this outfit.

After dresses, this is my favorite look...tailored professional attire.

I haven't read 50 shades. I have heard so much buzz about it, but am not that intrigued right now. I've heard its very erotic, and that's what is causing all the buzz...but I read Judith Krantz's books in the 70's so it can't be too new an idea!

  4. I would have thought that's who's mostly reading that book, bit like us and The Exorcist when we were teens (or was that just my class?). Lovely dress, grey really suits you. x
