I went out for a meal today with the women who helped organise our street party.
It was a good chance to wear my jacket with my favourite silver top.
Our Jubilee Street Party seems a long time ago. I just hope we don't have to wait another 10 years to get together in the street.
Hopefully we won't as we made plans to organise some more neighbourhood events in the future.
I wore:
Shoes - Marks & Spencer (25)
Jeans - Top Shop (13)
Top - H and M (1)
Ooooh, I love that together! I have a similar striped blazer but I usually wear a color more high-contrast under it. The softer gray is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI think I might be using it as inspiration for my own outfit today. Thank you!
Where did you find that cute jacket? Patti at NotDeadYetStyle has been looking for one like that. You might let her know, or I will. ;)
ReplyDeleteOur neighborhoods here in Seattle do neighborhood parties every year. They're sectioned off by one block radius or so and everyone comes out on the street and BBQ's and gets to know each other. It's suppose to help with safety and crime prevention, etc...
Hi JOni - The jacket was from a UK shop called Matalan.
DeleteThat striped blazer is gorgeous! x
ReplyDeleteLove the blazer! I think it's going to be a very versatile piece for you. As always, you look great.
ReplyDeletethank you for your lovely comment on my recent blog post. Your job working with prisoners in a writing group sounds fascinating!
ReplyDeleteI love how you continue to wear this blazer and it looks new every time !
ReplyDeleteI would have never thought of wearing it with gray...
