Back To Front

I was looking for a belt to wear with this skirt and none of them seemed right.
The skirt is a little too big and needs a belt to keep it in place.
I was beginning to despair when I noticed my red silk scarf.
I am not too sure whether it works or not but it is better than the belts that fit into the loops of this skirt.

You may notice the sunglasses.
Yes, we have sun.
Let's just hope it is here to stay.

Today I wore:
Shoes - Clarks (31)
Skirt - Banana Republic (17)
Shirt - Gap (9)
Necklace - Top Shop

  2. I love your topknot today - sometimes I wish my hair were long only to be able to pull it back like that!

Too big skirts are a pain, but great way to make it work with the scarf as a belt :)

  3. The scarf looks great an adds a bit of bright contrast to the fairly neutral shirt and skirt.

  5. Your hair looks fab today and great idea with the scarf? Sunshine? Am I living in an entirely different eco-system? It's been peeing it down here again and it's chilly! x

  6. Your idea for this pop of color around your waist really makes the outfit. It just wouldn't be near the same without it. Very nice!
