Misery

Oh my goodness, I look a bit psycho here.
I don't know why I look so miserable. I had a great day.
The sun shone for most of the day.
I managed an hour's walk at lunchtime and after work I went out for a lovely meal with my husband, daughter and her friend.

Maybe I was feeling a little miserable about the fact that I will never look anything like the model in today's inspiration photograph which comes again from the Baujken catalogue.
Today I wore:
Boots - Clarks
Skirt - Karen Millen
Top - Tesco
Cardigan - Marks and Spencer

  1. I'm loving these posts where you take inspiration from another outfit. Great idea! I would say not miserable, but enigmatic! Xx

  3. my dear, don't worry about the photo. you look beautiful. i love your red skirt and how you paired it. have a look at the models face, she looks bored, you look self-conscious.
    have a nice day!

  5. Enjoying your "inspired by" posts. Maybe the models expression influenced you, she doesn't look very happy.

  6. You look lovely! Do not compare yourself to an (airbrushed) model!! Agree photo not miserable face, more thoughtful / concentration. xx

  7. Ya even the model doesn't look like the model in that picture- undoubtedly airbrushed or tweaked! I love your shirt more than hers, though.

  8. Well, sure, the model is pretty but then she's probably 17, missing her family back in Eastern Europe, starving hungry, and panic-stricken about where her next booking is coming from.
    Swap places? Bet you wouldn't!
Lovely outfit, glad to hear you had a good day! xxx
