"I've borrowed your new blue bag from Zara so you can pick anything you want out of my wardrobe. See you tomorrow."
I suppose that is what you call a sartorial fait accompli.
But when my daughter is a couple of sizes smaller it doesn't leave me much choice in her wardrobe.
In fact the only thing that I could find to fit me was this top which she last wore on holiday.
I was feeling quite proud that I could fit into it, until I looked at the label and found it was a size 14 - well it was from Top Shop!!! Hope you are having a lovely weekend. I wore: Shoes - Clarks Jeans - Gap Top - Top Shop |
I hope you got the bag back!! xx
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous top and both you and your daughter look fab in it! What a beauty she is, just like her mum! xx
ReplyDeleteThe top looks great on both mum and daughter - fabulous colours! xxx
ReplyDeleteSuper cute top on you and I love the pattern. Whenever my daughter took my clothes I basically just had to figure I wouldn't see it again. Now I have to drive over to her house to get it back!
ReplyDeleteLooking good here(that specific top really flatters you, Jane:)!

That sounds just like something my youngest would say. At least she told you she had borrowed it. The top looks great teamed with your jeans hun.

That top looks equally good on both of you. x
ReplyDeleteHaha, I think I love your daughter. And I love the top you stole, so cute.
ReplyDeleteChic on the Cheap
Cute top, nice that it works so well for both of you. I remember having older teen girls that would raid my closet. Miss those days.

How funny - in my time it was the other way around. My mom would take stuff from my closet!
