Supermarket Sweep

In winter I love denim and a skinny black polo neck.
Today I wanted some colour and warmth as my office can be very cold.
Again, I bought this scarf when I was shopping in my local supermarket.
That's two items in two days that found their way into my shopping trolley.
What is your best supermarket clothes buy?

I wore:
Boots - Clarks
Skirt - Marks and Spencer
Top - Next
Scarf - Tesco

  1. Good morning, Jane. I think I'll have to stop at Tesco again this week hoping I can spot that lovely scarf too...It's becoming a habit...Have a nice day. Cold and wet in North Yorkshire today. Ciao. A.x

  2. Mine is a brown polka dot dress from Tesco that I bought for about £6 on sale years ago. I feel fabulous in it and have gotten many compliments every time I've worn it. For the past few years I've stored it out of my wardrobe, but I know I will pull it again sometime in the near future. It's something I keep going back to. Best money I ever spent. I also have a £7 pair of synthetic black boots that I bought last winter from Tesco. I have many pairs of (much more expensive) boots, but this is my most comfortable pair. Absolutely love them! I've recently resolved not to buy anything from Tesco because it's so easy to get carried away with impulse buying when I should be doing grocery, but reading back, I'm thinking maybe not such a bad idea if I keep finding such gems, eh?

  3. That looks so chic and elegant!
My best supermarket buy was a bikini from Asda I bought in desperation before we flew off to India a couple of years ago. It fitted and lasted beautifully and sadly they've never repeated the style. x

  4. My supermarket doesn't really sell clothes and certainly nothing as fabulous as that scarf!

  5. I purposely avoid supermarkets that sell clothes for the very reason of things ending up on my cart! We are on a really tight budget these days, so I can't sneak clothing into the house through our grocery budget!
