Holiday Wardrobe
Before I left for Barcelona this year I read a holiday commandment which I found brief yet brilliant.
"Take half the clothes you think you'll need and twice the money."
As we were limited to weight on the plane I decided to travel light. Very light.
I didn't take many outift pictures but I can tell you this denim skirt and grey top have earned their place as this year's holiday heroes.
My course will begin soon and I can't promise daily outfit posts but I have set up a new blog to track my PGCE course and hopefully normal service will resume when the course ends.

I really enjoyed reading your amazing story. Good luck with the PGCE. The world needs more teachers like you.
ReplyDeleteYou're looking great and you know it. Enjoy!
ReplyDeletePS I shall be following your PGCE blog with interest as I tried a similar (though not teaching)experiment in my 40s. Go for it!
Beautiful, and such a comfortable looking wardrobe! That denim skirt seems like a very versatile piece to take while you on vacation, and the blue dress is just stunning on you.
ReplyDeleteWell done on the light packing - those style capsule wardrobe challenges have come in handy!!
ReplyDeletePacking light is THE WAY, it also helps you have space for buying a little something to bring back home.
ReplyDeleteI am certain, as MDStyle above says... you got practice out of the challenges, btw when is the next one ?
Wow!!! You're looking fantastic. Well done you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a year you've got ahead: new you, new course, new adventure. I'm so happy for you. It's going to be exciting. You have so much experience and passion, every school in the area will be fighting over you - and so they should. I shall be watching your journey and cheering you on. WooHoo.
Much love

I agree with that packing philosophy, even though I am a habitual over packer. If I had the means, I'd like best to travel with an empty suitcase and just fill it up as my vacation goes along...
