The Green Shoots Of Recovery
When I am feeling low I like to curl up into a small ball and cry.
The smaller I can make myself and the longer I cry - the better I feel.
I took this picture after I'd had a good cry and dusted myself off again.
Green is a colour of rebirth and renewal which is why I may have subconsciouly chosen this skirt.
I wore:
Boots - tesco
Skirt and Wrap - Joe Brown's
Polo - Primark

Hi Jane, Sorry to hear about your son's accident. Hope he's ok now. Unforntunately you can never be without worries when you have children, even thought they're grown up. It's the parents' "curse". Sometimes a good cry can be refreshing when you are so down that you need it. But only if you can put everything into perspective afterwards. And you look remarkably well after your cry. I usually have puffed eyes and a terrible headache. Wish you to feel better soon. Be positive if you can. Ciao. A.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better! At least you look wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better, hugs to you-you certainly look lovely in this outfit!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better... you are one of the few people I know who looks fabulous even after crying. Look at you, you're so adorable.
ReplyDeleteYou rock, girl. I, too, feel that a good cry does wonders (and followed by a gorgeous outfit even more so). I sincerely hope you're all better now. I have an eight-year-old boy and a five-year-old girl and I know that as much as they bring me and my husband joy at this point in our/their lives, we will have tears in our eyes when they're older (we do get to test this occasionally...).
ReplyDeleteYour face looks so sweet here, and that skirt is just perfect. I think green is really cheery, too, and I hope you're feeling so much better. Putting the skirt with pink must make you happy, right? It's so bright!
ReplyDeleteMuch Love,
Julia
Oh dear, I hope you're feeling better now. A good cry always works wonders for me.
ReplyDeleteAs always, you look amazing! I love your skirt!
Oh, I hope you feel better. I know times can be rough and it's harder when it appears like we can't control anything but know that like all phases in life; this too shall pass. Keep your eyes on the prize and that in someway should help you to stay strong and focused for yourself...and all those you hold dear:)
ReplyDeleteSometimes a good cry is in order. It is healthy for the soul I believe. Regardless, you look lovely... which is not totally fair since I look puffy and red after crying. ;-) Take care of yourself and your family and know that I'm sending happy thoughts your way.
ReplyDeleteThank you once again for all your lovely kind thoughts.
ReplyDeleteDespite what you have been going through (or rather, in spite of it) you are shining in this outfit. Hope you feel much better.

a good cry always makes the eyes a certain wonderful kind of clear AND your outfit is stunning
