When I bought these biker boots I knew they would be a good buy.
They are even better now as I have slipped the lining from my Ugg boos into them.
I bought this dress on eBay for a very small sum and have worn it a few times here and here.
It was also a staple in my 2008 Capsule Wardrobe Challenge.
I like it best with cardigans.
In fact Floral Dresses, Cardigans and Boots make up my winter favourites.
And I think I wil be topping up my cardigan collection with some of these.
I have toughened up the dress with the boots or softened the boots with the dress
Whatever way round you see it I think it works.
I wore:
Boots - Tesco
Dress - eBay
Cardigan - M & Co
Belt - Primark (£1!)
I'm always impressed by the way you pair your motorcycle boots with girly dresses. I can't carry that look but you do so well. And you are always so adorable.
ReplyDeleteI really like all the floral patterns you wear, they suit you really well. Lovely colors!
ReplyDeletegreat look! Those boots were definitely a find!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful dress! I love the black against it here, it makes it winter/fall appropriate and very 'now' with the mix of different feelings (motorcycle boots vs. floral dress!).
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit - to me, this is classic "Jane"! Those boots are rockin'!
ReplyDeleteHi there-I love this outfit, mixing biker boots with florals is a winner!
ReplyDeleteWOW! YOU solely ROCK FABULOUSLY!
ReplyDeletep.s. I luv the pairing of the boots with your GORGEOUS dress, it's quite

I love the idea of pairing tough boots with a floral dress. In fact, I love the floral dress. But I'm not sure if its due to the angle of the camera, but the boots seem to add a lot of extra weight and mass to your feet. I think that maybe boots that fit closer to your calf that had metal buckles and the like would work better while still keeping with the mixing of motifs. Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteI love toughening up a great floral print with a motorcycle boot...
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvelous outfit! Love the belted cardi look- it makes your waist look insanely tiny! And those boots are divine.
