The Great Escape

Today I will be making for the hills to attend the annual Writers In Prison residential conference.
I can hardly believe it's a year since last time.
I don't know what I am looking forward to the most.
1. Spending time with the other prison writers.
2. Two days in the beautiful Welsh countryside.
3. The hot tub.
4. No mobile phone coverage.
5. No internet access
6. All of the above.

I wore:
Boots - Dorothy Perkins
Skirt - Marks and Spencer
Shirt - New Look
Belt and Necklace - Tesco

  1. I had no idea that being a prison writer was so common as to have a conference. How many prisons have dedicated writers? Is this a growing trend/movement? I'm really curious every time I read about your work.

  2. Sounds like pure bliss! I can't quite believe that it is a year ago that you posted about the last conference - time sure does fly when one is middle aged ROFLOL!

Have a great relaxing time away from the outside world for a few days :-))

  10. Oh I'm envious of your trip to my homeland. I couldn't guess but judging by the grass and greenery I know it isn't North Wales, so probably mid Wales - Cerdigion or nearly the Brecons?
