Le Weekend

After all the trials and tribulations of the past week we had a lovely weekend.
The weather was fabulous and it was a rare chance for my parents to spend time with their children and seven grandchildren.
My brother lives in a tiny village outside Peterborough with a village green, stone cottages and people who stop, smile and say hello as you walk past.
On Saturday morning I went for an early morning walk with my parents and found this amazing tree which I couldn't resist hugging.
Sunday was the day of the christening and we woke early to dress the village hall. We prepared the food and the decorations which had a Noah's Ark theme.
I wore my favourite Oasis "Poppy Dress" which always makes me feel great.
Everything went well during the service and Seth didn't even cry when he was woken from his slumbers with a cold shower!
One of the hymns was "All Things Bright and Beautiful" which summed up the day very nicely.

  8. I love that dress unyet I hate Oasis and never see a thing when I go in there and I always feel they are overpriced and don't do big enough reductions in their sales, but I want that dress!
