Chic Up Do

While contemplating getting my hair cut shorter earlier this week I realised I was just getting a bit bored.

After a browse on Pinterest I found this amazing new blog which features what seems like hundreds of hair tutorials.

Amazingly the blog
has  a very similar name to mine - The Small Things - and hosted by a lovely lady called Kate.

Last night my friends came round for a drink and a film (Brokeback Mountain), so I had a go at The Chic Up Do.

It's not perfect but I was pleased with the first attempt.

I wore:
Shoes - Boden
Jeans - Top Shop (Martha)
Vest - Gap
Blouse - H and M.

  4. Great uo-do. One of the nice things about long hair is that you can do a variety of things with it. Love the blouse, I may have to visit H%M.

  5. That looks very pretty. Funnily enough, I'm wearing a similar-ish outfit today (me! in jeans! unheard of!)
I watched Brokeback Mountain last night too, I hadn't seen it before and thought it was heartbreakingly good. All the more sad because of what happened to Heath Ledger too. xxxx

  9. Coming back to this really late to say thank you - through you I've discovered that blog and I love it, and her videos on Youtube - very helpful. I have similar length hair to yours and was also feeling bored. She's even inspired me to buy some curling tongs ...

I think your first attempt was great - looks very elegant.
