Dark Vision

I had lots of plans today.
Mow the lawn, mop the floors, clean the fridge....
But then this book arrived, a debut novel from my former Liverpool Echo colleague, Debbie Johnson.
I worked with Debbie for ten years and she was a great colleague, funny, feisty and very, very clever.
I love novels set in the city where I worked for many, many years.
Although I was born in Manchester, I have lived and worked in and around Liverpool since 1989 and consider it my home city.
If you want to know more about Debbie, you can read it here.
Now please excuse me while I follow the adventures of Lily and Gabriel.

I wore:
Shoes - Clarks
Jeans - Tesco
Top - Boden

  1. Find a good book and the housework goes to pot! x Let us know what you think at the end, will need a holiday read x

  2. A good book wins out over cleaning every time. It must be fun to read a book written by someone you know. Enjoy it!

  3. Looks like a gorgeous day there. Time goes so quick when you get your head into a good book, doesn't it! Enjoy :-)

  4. Well, I think you still used your time wisely… unlike me, that just fall asleep and don't get anything done.

  5. It's amazing how a good book grabs you and the world just melts away around you. Enjoy.

    X x

  6. How exciting to know the author. A day spent reading is never wasted. x
