Eve

Another charity shop find.
I bought this almost brand new Joe Brown's dress from my favourite charity shop for £2.95 and where the other day, I picked up a Toast coat for £8.95.
Happy Christmas to me.
As I have been blogging every Christmas since 2008 I thought I would share some Christmases Past with you.

I think it is time to leave the computer now and enjoy Christmas Present.
I will sit on the sofa with my husband and four children to watch "It's A Wonderful Life."
Hope you and yours have a lovely Christmas, whatever you choose to do.

But  before I go I would like to share a Christmas gift to you.
This short passage from Lao Tzu was written in my Christmas card by my colleague, Steve.
Words of wisdom to ensure Christmases Future remain serene.

Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill.
Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt.
Chase after money and security and your heart will never unclench.
Care about people’s approval and you will be their prisoner.
Do your work, then step back.
The only path to serenity.

Wishing you all a serene Christmas, wherever you are.
