A Tale Of Two Dresses

I was feeling a little uninspired this week. The weather is windy and cold and there is a restlessness in the air at work as exams and the end of the academic year approaches.

I have little time to think about what to wear when I am trying to inspire my students so I go for a fail-safe option. Long sleeved dress + toning camisole + boots = my go-to wear for trying times like these. What is your go-to option?

I wore:
Dresses: H and M (brown), Gap (blue)
Camisoles: Marks and Spencer
Wooly tights and Ear-rings: Dorothy Perkins
Boots: Clarks

  2. I like both dresses, but the second one is my favorite. I have noticed a change in the mood on my campus as well. Suddenly the students are VERY serious about their work and concerned about their impending grades.

  3. Hi Jane, having problems with blogger and certain sites so sorry I'm not commenting very often. You look stylish as usual. I really hate the cold, especially at the end of April when in Italy they are already in spring mood, so I still wear my warm trousers and cardigans! All the best. Ciao. A.xx

  5. Yep, a dress (any length) and boots do it for me most days - easy and lots of options. Add a cardigan or scarf or bright tights, but the formula works every time! You look great in both frocks. I NEED some tan boots! xxx

  6. Both dresses look comfortable - that's an important issue for me when I'm concentrating on other things. My go to outfit is black pants/white shirt/and a particular jacket. The jacket is only hipbone length, has bracelet length sleeves and is black with an all over embroidery pattern in color. Works for most seasons here.

  7. Love the second dress in particular! For me a dress & a cropped cardigan are my go-to fail-safe work outfits.
