Saturday Stripes
I love Stripes. So much I have used a capital letter just for them.
I found this top in the back of my son's wardrobe.
How had it got there?
I decided to pair it with my new Primark trousers which I bought for cycling to work.
They are slim fitting which means I don't need to worry about them getting caught.
I live 8 miles from work and last Sunday I put on my work clothes and boots and tootled off to work at a pace that was leisurely and wouldn't mean needing a strip shower in the toilets and a change before work.
It took me an hour and five minutes.I couldn't believe it, the time just flew.
Now the mornings are lighter I plan to cycle to and from work at least once a week - weather forecast permitting.
I wore:
Boots - Clarks
Trousers & Top - Primark
Collar - Dorothy Perkins

I'm very impressed. I don't think I'd be in any fit state to work seeing as it takes me 2 hours to drive.
ReplyDeleteLoving the stripes. Its a great casual outfit.

Don't you just love Primark? If only I could live there. Fortunately, there isn't one in my town, and I have to travel about 12 miles to get to the nearest one. I make it a mini-vacation!

Yes, stripes are fab, I agree. You look lovely.
ReplyDeleteI am most impressed with your cycling - I haven't been on a bike in ... OMG, 30 years probably! I wonder if I could still do it? They say it's like - well, riding a bike!
Do you know, I have NEVER bought an item of clothing for myself in Primark? Am I the only woman in the UK for whom that's true? Have bought bits for the kids but that's all. And the charity shops are always FULL of their stuff. xxx
Is it possible that your son is borrowing your clothes?
ReplyDeleteWith that outfit in the closet you are ready to go anywhere at anytime. I think stripes should be considered a basic for wardrobes.

I love stripes too! In envy your stamina with your running and cycling. I get up and look out of the window and don't feel like going out at all! Ciao. A.xx PS Your longer hair looks really good.
