I know I said I wouldn't post but I need your help.
I hate my hair.
I am suffering from January hair.
Static from constant central heating.
Lifeless after a month of eating rubbish.
Dark and dull due to the lack of sunshine.
I was growing it.
But I want to cut it.
Before I do here's a flashback to three looks:short, medium and long (for me).
My hair.
Should it go or should it stay?
You decide!

I think short really frames your face well!
ReplyDeleteTotal stranger here, but I think the short is the cutest on you. It looks modern and youthful.
ReplyDeleteI like the one where you're wearing the pink top the most. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm about to rip mine out by the roots as well.
I agree with the other comments that the shorter cut is cute, youthful and modern.
ReplyDeleteI've recently gone through the same dilemma. I think over a couple of months I went from a bob cut of various lengths and to the pixie cut. I'm loving the pixie cut.
I
I love the "short." It looks so polished and really highlights your face.
ReplyDeleteShort, it's lovely, fresh and youthful!
ReplyDeleteI love the way the short frames your face by bringing out your best features....which have got to be those eyes! You also have a slim neck and that always gets kind of hidden when one has long hair. I say if you have these beautiful assets...show them off:)
ReplyDeleteThe short is really gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the hair in the last photo the most. You look vibrant!
ReplyDeleteI too vote for the short! Very chic!
ReplyDeleteI love your hair now, with the bangs. That's the last photo right?
ReplyDeleteI love your hair at the shorter length, just above chin length. Coincidentally that's also the optimum length for my own hair - any longer and it starts to misbehave.
ReplyDeleteShort, no question. It frames your face perfectly and makes you look 10 years younger.
ReplyDeleteI'm voting short. It's SO flattering!! :)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, your hair is GORGEOUS, lady, all the time, but I actually like the short one for you. It's so pretty!
ReplyDeletexx
Short, the way you have it with the pink shirt. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love your hair shorter too - have you ever had it shorter than in the 'short' photo? You have a very delicate, pretty face and the longer hair overwhelms your face a bit. I think you could carry off a 'short, short' cut but that might be a bit too drastic for you.
ReplyDeleteWinter is a rotten time of year for skin and hair isn't it? Hope a new haircut lifts you a bit - although I do agree with Julia that I have never seen your hair look bad, ever! :-)
Wow - I got up this morning expecting a few comments but 17. And with a definite consensus. I am booking an appointment right now. And when I'm back in February you will be able to see.
ReplyDeleteMany,many thanks.
Janex
Hi there-I love the short style, it really does look fab!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! May the year ahead be full of laughter, love, health, wealth and lots of fabulous bargain finds!
ReplyDeleteThe decision re your hair certainly seems unanimous! Go the short style!
xo
It looks like there is consensus - Short. There is something about getting a haircut that just puts a little extra zip in life.
ReplyDeleteDarla
Love the short cut better. You look fab in all of the three styles but the short one suits you more. Ciao. A.
ReplyDeleteSHORT! it's very stylish, frames your face well, and makes you look younger than the other cuts.
ReplyDeleteI love you in the shortest hair cut - so cute on you!
ReplyDeleteShort (the one in pink) is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteYou look polished and you can flaunt that pretty neck :)
Definately Short
ReplyDeleteThank you - I love wearing the dress and am glad it wasn't sold out yet!
ReplyDeleteIn case you needed any more encouragement -- SHORT!
ReplyDeleteThe short is awesome!
ReplyDeleteAnd..I have straight hair also, use a spray on conditioner after toweling off, and it helps with the static!!
Love, love the short look Jane.
ReplyDeleteI understand your need to take a break, but hope you won't be gone forever. I'll miss you. I haven't been here for a while, but appreciate your occasional visits to my blog. I've always liked your style and your blog.
Best wishes to you...!
Definitely the short looks best on you, maybe even a bit shorter. I too am tired of Xmas eating and would like to do something to my hair, maybe bangs..
ReplyDeleteI came on to say "definitely short, you look fabulous, young, perky, chic with the short bob", but it has been said 30+ times already! Hope you're already enjoying your new "do" :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have won a giveaway on my blog!!
ReplyDeleteI love the short bob that hits at your chin - it's so flattering on you.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing worse than trying to grow out your hair during cold weather. I gave up in
September and chopped all mine off (again).
I think you're hearing "SHORT" loud and clear! That photo with the pink top is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBut, generally, try not to panic too much about your hair; when I moved here, someone said to me, "Oh, yes, English women, they have wonderful skin and terrible hair!"
.... I think it's the relatively damp climate - and you do have wonderful skin!
i love your short hair! looks great. you are so beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteI love it short!!!! I think we all know what the readers choice is ;)

I know you are taking a break, and I really do respect that ............................. but have you had your hair cut yet? :-))
ReplyDeleteplease come back soon... I would like to see your hair! and of course your fab posts!
ReplyDeleteToo late I'm sure, but my tuppence would be pic 3, short and light, the one in your pink top x
Argh only just noticed the post time!
ReplyDeleteLook the short is wonderful but I also like the long - the mid length is a bit nothing on you.
As you are petite the short looks wonderful but then you can always put long hair up - also the long hair photo isn't as sharp as the short hair one!
Just wanted to let you know I have an award for you over at my blog. If your blog is award free or you choose not to participate, no worries - just my way of saying I enjoy your blog!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of short hair and I love the short cut the best on you!
ReplyDeleteHi Jane - Emma from Integrity Recruitment Solutions here. I found your blog! We met last night at your Train 2000 PR workshop. I think your hair looks prettiest in the photo where you are sporting the fuschia top. Keep in touch!
ReplyDeleteHi Jane, Hope you are all fine there. Miss you. Please tell Ben than Rachel has said a few words today. It was the first time after over 3 weeks! Please thank him for his prayers and thoughts! Ciao. Antonella
ReplyDeleteI like them all, not much help am I. I suppose the longer style makes you look younger - always good.
