Turnng My Back on Black

A chilling sort of a day today.
Spent most of the day sorting out wardrobes - mine and the kids - as we are planning some bedroom decorations over the next few months.
As Spring beckons I am trying my very best to avoid black even though I am still feeling cold and wanting to hibernate.

Hope you al had a good Easter.

I wore:
Boots - Clarks
Skirt, Blouse, Caridgan - Boden

  1. I love the combination of the blue blouse and purple cardigan! I know what you mean about avoiding black, I'm trying to do the same in an attempt to "fake" spring!

  2. Pretty spring colors. I can't quite let go of black, some of my spring/summer wardrobe is black in light fabrics like linen.

  5. Me too. It's so bright and sunny ( and milder) today so after my mood lightening hair appointment I went round to M&S and bought a pair of white wide legs trousers and a pair of deep blue straight leg chinos. Both to try with a long blue/grey stripey top I bought in a 'designer' sale a few weeks ago.

Actually I popped in to Phase Eight first looking for spring/summer inspiration (forgetting about my stripey top) but it was dire compared to the cheerful on-trend M&S selection.

And I do like your cardi/shirt combo as well.

  7. Oooh, an all-Boden outfit, I love that! Very pretty colours - please make them chase the winter away! We've had plenty of new snow here today - in April :(
